(中文) 車庫搖滾與新迷幻，放克雷鬼與世界音樂，全場騷動的地下電子派對，當然還有永不退燒「非常廟」電子舞台。遊牧影展簡直對舉辦派對上了癮，繼去年舉辦二天音樂祭，今年要在4/14-4/15二天，邀請國內外超過30組樂團與DJ陣容接連上場，帶你進入古怪反常的派對中。今年4/12的「前前夜祭」特別邀請120%搖滾精神，爽度爆表，展現東京地下車庫搖滾音樂紀事的《東京車庫狂熱》台灣首映與加碼樂團演出！電影在日本各地巡迴時好評如潮，衍然成為次文化代表，製片B.B. Clarke亦現身映後座談。

Tokyo’s PeopleJam, SexyBaby Mimi and a dozen more acts join The Freakout lineup
Japanese Electro-rockers PeopleJam and 10 other band and DJs head up the second lineup announcement for the 2018 Urban Nomad Opening Freakout, to be held at Tiger Mountain April 14-15. They’re joined by local acts Hang in the Air, SexyBaby Mimi, Destroyers, No-Nonsense Collective and in total a dozen bands and DJs, with still more to come!
Japanese Garage Rock Madness at Urban Nomad Opening Freakout
At this year’s Urban Nomad Opening Freakout (April 14-15 @ Tiger Mt, Taipei), we will pay a special homage to the Tokyo garage scene, featuring wild fuzz, neo-psychedelia and hardcore psychobilly. Highlights include Tokyo bands Minnesota Voodoo Men, and a vicious hard funk band Walkings.
Angelo Moore of Fishbone to play Urban Nomad Opening Freakout with The Brand New Step
In our quest for the best live acts in the universe, Urban Nomad has lured in legendary frontman of Fishbone Angelo Moore will bring his band Angelo Moore & The Brand New Step to the 2018 Urban Nomad Opening Freakout, at Tiger Mountain in Taipei on April 14-15. Also set to perform: Minnesota Voodoo Men and Walkings from Japan! And Taiwan’s best bands & DJs: Skaraoke, Outlet Drift, Crocodelia, Sonica Calico, Balkazar, DJ Cosimoz, Byron Duvell (Diamond Tigerz), and DJ Marcus Aurelius. And we’re just getting started. There are plenty more performer announcements to come!
Urban Nomad Music Fest coming April 14-15 at Tiger Mountain!
For 2018, the Urban Nomad Opening Freakout will be held on April 14 and 15 (Sat & Sun) at Taipei’s best outdoor music venue, Tiger Mountain. The lineup will have more than 30 bands and DJs playing on two main stages, plus amazing food, craft beer, a pop-up vinyl DJ stage, art installations and booths, pre-parties, afterparties and lots of new surprises! (We’re not joking about the surprises.)

The 2018 Urban Nomad Film and Music Fest is preparing to take place in April and May 2018, so hurry up and submit your work to Taiwan’s most exciting creative showcase! We are holding competitions for films — including short films and feature films — and music videos, with awards including NTD 50,000 cash prizes and video production services from Far East Translation.
