(中文) 城市遊牧影展今年開幕片選映《流氓燕》(Hooligan Sparrow)，大膽揭密中共高壓政治黑箱，全片以隱藏式攝影機完成拍攝，日舞影展首映震驚了民主世界的觀眾。多次入圍金鐘獎的獨立導演辛建宗最新長片《澤水困》(Aground)、以及由林依晨擔綱製片的短片《迷途台北》(Trippin’ in Taipei)將雙雙於影展閉幕當日世界首映。

Competition Films Announced!
The 2016 Urban Nomad Film Fest received more than 400 open submissions in 2016, including 40 films over 60 minutes in length, 295 short films and 72 music videos. Aside from Taiwan, films were submitted from Hong Kong, Macao, Singapore, the US, France, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine and other countries.

This year’s Urban Nomad will have a great lineup of films looking at artistic revolutionaries in the present and recent past. Here are a few films we’re really excited about!
2016 Urban Nomad dates set as 5/12-22
Urban Nomad will hold 2016 activities starting with an outdoor music festival on April 16, followed by a string of warm-up events and culminating with 12 days of film screenings at the Wonderful Theater in Ximen from May 12 to 22.

Urban Nomad Named To Shopping Design Best 100
Taiwan’s Shopping Design Magazine presented an award to Urban Nomad Film Fest on Friday, Dec. 18, naming as one of the “Best 100” of 2015 in the category of exhibitions and events. The magazine gave awards in ten categories at the awards ceremony, with awards given to ten exhibitions and events in that category.
