Competition Coordinator ( recruited )

An important part of the Urban Nomad team will manage the Urban Nomad film and music video competitions, including organizing submissions, film selection team, competition jury, review submitted films, plan & promote screenings, communicate with filmmakers, organize panels, filmmaker events and awards ceremony. Experience in film, events management or arts administration desired.

Designers and Artists
Artists and illustrators: for neo-psychedelic, trippy, underground, funny and cool illustrations and artwork.
Designers: Paid position. Must be very strong in typographic design, understand that text design is about clear communication, and employ consistent style across a broad range of events and designs. Must be able to work well with both Chinese and English text. Must be willing to work with illustrators and other artists. We like bold, edgy styles. The main design work will be a 30-40 page film festival catalogue, posters and print material, banners for film festival events, event branding materials and other assorted needs. January – May. Must have portfolio or work samples.
