Urban Nomad’s two-day music festival, the Urban Nomad Freakout, will return to Taipei’s Tiger Mountain on April 13-14. The Urban Nomad Film Fest will be held one month later, from May 16 to 26, at the Wonderful Theater in Ximen. The 2019 Urban Nomad Freakout will feature over 30 bands, DJs and circus performers on 3 stages, including a special Circus Stage. There will be installation art, delicious food and beer, and a chance to be one great collaborative experience in a beautiful mountain valley. So get ready to free your funky mind, listen to some mind-blowing music, and be an active part of our outrageous carnival. Like everything else at this festival, the music programming focuses on creativity, artistry and eclecticism. There will be psych rock, garage surf, piano-driven post-rock, progressive, ska, experimental, electronic, performance art, roots reggae, funk, lo-fi, street punk, indie hip hop, techno and more. We’ll announce bands and DJs very soon. But also, in addition to all the performers… there will be you! Our audiences are freaking amazing, and truly one of things that makes the Urban Nomad Freakout so special. Please come with an open mind and be a part of it!
