Caribbean Dandy

A Tokyo-based DJ crew whose members are the biggest names in the Japanese rock latino-cumbia-mestizo-rebel music scene. They’ve performed at Fuji Rock at least three times, and also toured in Italy, France, Spain, the Basque Country and the US. In Japan, they have opened for Manu Chao, Rico Rodriguez (trombonist who played with Prince Buster, the Specials and other ska legends) and Flogging Molly, and they’ve toured Italy with the likes of Banda Bassotti, The Slackers and Bombshell Rocks. In Japan, they’ve further organized gigs or worked with the biggest names in both the local and global Latin-Caribbean scene, including  , Very Be Careful and many others. Key members are SATORU FUJII a.k.a Satol F. (Head Case), TETZ MATSUOKA a.k.a Prince Matsuoka (Club Ska), KAZ SUDO (3.1 length-The Zoot 16), TXAKO (Japonicus). In Japan they have been creating their scene since the 1980s, and are still considered to be an “instant party”.
