Every year we try to select a wide variety of cuisines and specialty foods that aren’t easily accessible in the city. We often host food vendors from all parts of Taiwan, as the festival has a reputation for being an incredibly fun time, so vendors are eager to make the journey from all corners of the island. This year we’ve got two food trucks – Scratch Burger 黑膠漢堡 , a badass burger truck serving up a delicious assortment of burgers on charcoal buns. Their good friends, Lighthouse Food Truck 燈塔餐車 are joining us this year, and they serve gooey paninis and Cuban sandwiches that hit the spot, with miles usually a mile long wherever they appear.
We’ve got some ethnic food options to tantalize taste buds, with Mexican fares by Teotihuacán 墨西哥料理 (Sophie Hsu), serving up fresh, authentic, unbeatable tacos. Yummy empanadas, which are fried dumplings stuffed with different combos of meats and flavors, by Mecato Colombia 哥倫比亞小吃在台灣. 印渡風情 印度餐廳out of india indian restaurant, a long time collaborator will join again this year, spicing up this docket with aromatic and homey Indian food.
Baby Juice TW and Sourdough Bread Taiwan are our superstar health food options, with Baby Juice TW providing creative, refreshing juice and smoothie blends, as well as caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea. Sourdough Bread Taiwan is always a hit, and makes amazingly textured homemade sourdough bread sandwiches, salads, and other vegetarian friendly options.
